You don't need to be big to build a legacy program that works.
Many small and mid-sized nonprofits believe planned giving is only for organizations with deep pockets and specialized staff. It’s not true. I show you how to build a program that fits your capacity – using the team you have, the donor trust you’ve earned, and a proven strategy that delivers results in months, not years.
What We'll Build
Here’s what changes when we work together:
You realize you already have the building blocks.
I assess your team, your routines, and your donor relationships, then show you how to integrate legacy work into what already exists. You’ll get implementation plans organized by role and practical frameworks that fit your current operations. It’s not about building new infrastructure. It’s about strategically deploying the people and resources you already have.
Estate planning conversations feel comfortable - with backup if you need it.
I help you frame these conversations so estate gifts feel like a natural extension of the relationship your donors already value, not an awkward ask. I’ll train your team on the language to use, when to raise the topic, and how to make it comfortable. And when you have high-net-worth donors who need sophisticated estate planning guidance, I can talk to them directly on your behalf, with financial credibility and genuine warmth.
You process gifts like you've been doing it for years.
You’ll have clear gift acceptance policies that show exactly what you can accept and how to process it. You’ll know how to work strategically with external advisors – lawyers, accountants, and financial planners – without building costly internal capacity. Documentation, procedures, and coordination frameworks will be in place so you can handle gifts seamlessly and confidently when donors step forward.
You can finally say YES to the gifts that transform everything
About Me
Before entering the nonprofit world, I spent 15 years as an Operations Director for an international metals trading firm based in London and Istanbul. I negotiated high-value cross-border deals, secured multi-million-dollar financing, and coordinated with lawyers, accountants, and banks across multiple regulatory environments. I’ve lived in five countries, speak two languages (with a third on the way), and understand how to build trust across cultures.
When I moved into fundraising, those skills translated immediately. At Plan International Canada, as the organization’s sole full-time planned giving professional, I secured $6M in bequests in under two years. At the Textile Museum of Canada, I helped confirm 25 bequests in six months, partnering with stakeholders who understood giving as stewardship and cultural legacy. During this period, I completed both my MFA-P and CFRE certifications in under three months—a testament to disciplined execution and long-term commitment.
Today, I work inside nonprofit organizations on a fractional basis, partnering closely with executive teams and boards to strengthen legacy strategy, align governance, and build systems that endure beyond any one campaign or individual.
